Students work with a real-life working artist, writer & musician!
North Dakota ARTIST - MAX - will share a fun, inspirational / educational presentation featuring quirky drawings and stories showcasing what it’s like to be an artist and the journey it took to get there.
MAX will also lead a small drawing activity for students to actually work and create alongside a working artist!

A BOOK & A SHOW!
SEND MAX to a school, classroom or LIBRARY to perform an exciting, musical book reading show featuring his giant book: “Wild & the Animal Band.”
Kids will enjoy the fun singalong songs - tweeting like birds - howling at the moon and going WILD in this interactive WILD performance.
The EVENT:
MAX reads his book, plays his music and also gives fun behind the scenes author / illustrator notes and stories about how he created his book.
Performance is followed by an artist meet and greet, book signing AND Q&a.

BOOKMAKING WORKSHOP

Students learn how to write and illustrate their very own picture book - then the really cool part - we take their stories and turn them into professionally printed hardcover books to live on the family bookshelf forever!
Each student receives one hardcover copy of their book.
Students work alongside real-life North Dakota author and illustrator - MAX - in this hands-on creative workshop for students of all ages!
Once the books are printed, we follow up with an inspirational author event, book signing and story time!
Our newly published authors will be able to show off their books to friends, family and the local community and even read their works to little story time participants.
AUTHORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO SIGN COPIES OF THEIR BOOKS FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND LIVE IT UP AS A NEWLY PUBLISHED AUTHOR!
